The Hotel Amphone*** is a family hotel combining tradition, comfort and a great city centre location. The leafy boulevard on which it stands was built in New Renaissance style at the end of nineteenth century, as is the hotel. The hotel opened in this building in the spring of 1992. It offers 54 en-suite rooms with TV, phone, mini bar and a buffet style breakfast.

Guests visiting the Hotel Amphone can walk into the centre of Brno in five minutes. You can stroll down the quiet tree-lined boulevard into Lužánky park – filled with lawns and gardens, with tennis courts and a swimming pool. Not far from the park is the Villa Tugendhat, a UNESCO-listed world cultural heritage site.

As well as accommodation the hotel offers excellent dining facilities in its two restaurants the well known Sabaidy specialising in authentic Lao and Thai cuisine and the newly opened U Slona ( at the Elephant) which in a newly renovated non-smoking area offers a wide range of European specialities including fresh fish, and a summer barbecue. It also offers a daily menu and a breakfast menu from 8.00am on weekdays.

As part of its services the Hotel Amphone can also offer facilities for meetings, seminars, training or social functions in a variety of function rooms including a fully equipped conference room with a capacity of up to 90 depending on use.
